All users of this web site are invited to send in their questions and comments.

What kind of question can I ask?

The Information Center provides information about the Parliament and the Hungarian constitutional system in general. You can also ask any question concerning to MP's, legislations, drafts, resolutions, votes etc. To ensure an appropriate response, please give as much detail and context to your question as possible.

How long will it take to receive an answer?

Depending on the complexity of the question, a response can usually be supplied within a few working days but there are examples for questions from researchers which could take more time to answer.

I'm a researcher can I ask a more detailed questions about the Hungarian Parliament?

Yes, all questions from researchers, university and college students are welcomed.

I'm planning to visit the Hungarian National Assembly. Where do I need to book my visit?

Please, contact directly to the Tourism Department.

Will my question be made publicly available?

All questions will be dealt with in a confidential manner.

What does it mean faction?

We officially use the term 'faction' for parliamentary groups (parties goups represented in the parliament). The reason is that we use the term 'group' for the purposes in relation to the activities of MPs (e.g. professional, regional or political organizations according to paragraph (1) of Article 18 of the Standing Orders) do not qualify as factions.
